This policy explains what information CodeKaar collects through this website and how it is used.

Information you give us

When you place an order or send a message we collect the details you enter: name, phone number, email address, city, institution name, the machine ID of your computer and any payment reference or receipt you upload.

How we use it

  • To process your order and issue your registration key
  • To reply to your questions and provide support
  • To keep a record of licenses so we can help you if you change your computer

Information collected automatically

We count page visits and downloads in an anonymous way: the page visited, the referring website, device type and country. We do not store IP addresses.

Google Analytics

On codekaar.com we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and whether forms are sent successfully. Google Analytics uses cookies for this.

  • Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and visitors whose country we cannot tell, are asked first. Google Analytics is only loaded after you choose "Allow analytics".
  • Everywhere else Google Analytics is on by default. You can switch it off at any time with "Privacy choices" at the bottom of every page.
  • We never use Google Analytics for advertising. Advertising storage, ad personalisation and Google signals are switched off.
  • We never send Google your name, phone number, email address, order number, machine ID, payment details or what you type into forms or the search box.
  • Google processes this data under its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Data inside our software

Data you enter into our desktop software is stored on your own computer (and in your own Google Drive if you use backup). We do not receive or store it.

Trial and activation

When a trial or registered copy connects to the internet it may send its machine ID, product name and version to check the trial period or registration status. No other data from your computer is sent.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties, except where required by law.
